Privacy Policy

Project Medusa is built with privacy in mind. This policy describes how the app handles information on your device.

Applies to
All app versions

1. Local-first capture

Project Medusa uses the device camera to help you capture photos and create 3D models. Captures, reconstructed models, and app preferences are stored on your device.

2. No developer collection

Project Medusa does not require an account, does not include analytics or advertising SDKs, and does not send your captures, models, usage activity, or device identifiers to a developer-operated server.

3. User-controlled sharing

You may export or share model files using system sharing features. When you choose to share a file, the destination service or recipient handles that file under its own terms and privacy practices.

4. Permissions

Camera access is used only for 3D capture features. You can manage camera permission in iOS Settings at any time.

5. Data retention

Captures, models, and app preferences remain on your device unless you delete them, remove the app, export them, or share them through system features. Project Medusa does not keep a separate developer copy of your content.

6. Children

Project Medusa is not directed to children under the age of 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

7. Security

Your data remains on your device and is protected by iOS security features, including device passcode and encrypted storage where available.

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated for future releases. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated date.
